The Linden Welcomes the World Committee was formed to bring our city together in celebration of the global game and the international spirit it inspires. As millions of fans across the world gather to watch the world’s largest soccer tournament, Linden will proudly showcase the diversity, energy, and community pride that define our city, while hosting guests from all over the city, county, state, region, and world!

Our mission is simple: We are creating opportunities for residents, families, and visitors to come together through sport, culture, and shared experiences. Throughout the 6 week period of the tournament this summer, the Committee will host a series of public viewing events, and neighborhood celebrations designed to unite fans from every background. These events will highlight the passion for the beautiful game while celebrating the many cultures that make Linden such a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.

Beyond the matches themselves, our efforts are about building community. By organizing inclusive, family-friendly events across the city, we aim to create memorable moments, strengthen local connections, and showcase Linden’s welcoming spirit to the world.
